Bright colors part two

Lately I've been drawn to bright colors in my editing. It's not for everyone, I know this, but I'm lovin' it!!!! These two little ones, not so little, have really gotten to bond with me! I've had the pleasure of being their photographer for the past three years and I have also had the pleasure of watching them grow. The only downside or fun side (depends on how you look at it) is that they are really, really, really comfortable with you and know that I will let them and encourage them to goof off and they start the session that way! Mom is great, she lets me do my stuff and when she see's the portraits she sends me the BESTEST email telling me how much she loves me and how I am her ultimate favorite photographer... (now if that doesn't make my day I don't know what would!) Ok, no more talking/writing, time to SHARE, Miss Spunky S. and Mr. Goof-ball R.!

Halloween

A few days ago I had a client call me and ask me for suggestions to do with her children on Halloween. Hmmm, light bulb! After talking to her for a while I decided that I'd love to share my own personal suggestions of fun stuff to do with your kids and family, not just for Halloween but for the year round. Halloween

• Evelyn Greer park has a "Trick or Track" event where children can go trick or treating around the field (track). Local business set up tables with candies and events for the children. Get there early as parking can be a bit harrowing, but it's a fun, safe way for families to trick or treat.
• Metro Boo. I'll be there this Sunday with my own family! Metro Zoo has an event this weekend where the kids come in dressed up and get candy.
• Monster Splash Night at the Miami Seaquarium, trick or treating and fun events
• The little Farm in 13400 SW 224 st. has a pumpkin patch that is great for snapshots of the kids! Hayride and a petting zoo! Go this weekend for some fun times and great memories! 

a beautiful family

Sometimes, things happen for a reason. We may not know why, we may not understand why but I have found that it's easier to go with the flow and things will be clearer at the end. I have been given this gift of photography, this love and passion and drive and I have also been shown a way to give back to families and loved ones with my gift, Kids Hope United, Think Pink Photography. And I must say that it feels soo good deep down inside to be able to share my gift with special families that touch my life. I had the pleasure of meeting this family a few weeks ago. They are so beautiful and happy and full life. I felt blessed and privileged to be welcomed into their home and given the gift of creating family portraits for them. Mom is a wonderful strong and an amazing person.

Finally finished my KHU ad. I love the way it came out and had to run over here to share with you guys. I love my charities and really love how my clients like to help out and get involved in them!

this image, although from the same session, deserved it's very own blog! I get to photograph this little cutie several times a year, baby brother is a baby planner and she got to sneak in on her baby cousin's first birthday portraits. She has really gotten to know me and thinks I'm "so funny". I think she's the cutest little thing and love making her think I'm funny! (hope no one is recording me doing it though- I'd hate to see me on America's funniest photographers!)

Well as I'm doing my "stuff" she looks at her mommy and says, "where's my click". I look at mom with a huge question on my face and she tells me that she wants to take MY picture with her camera! Oh goodness, now isn't that the cutest??? So here is Miss. V showing me how she would take my picture...

Guess what?

Babies pee-and you may get wet- especially if they are naked!!! I tell ALL my clients this! They know this of course, still I let them know to expect it. Your baby will pee and it's ok, just hold them away from your body and we'll clean it up after. BUT when it happens I can't help but laugh and snap, of course! and then I come here and share with all of you!

But before the pee I got all of these! Now tell me, wasn't it worth it Dad?

Holiday Card Sessions

Just an update, we are booked solid for October and November only has four session dates open for outdoor locations. If you are interested in having your holiday portrait session with us please contact us ASAP. At the present time we have open:

These are for sessions scheduled outdoors, on-location,( i.e. park, beach). If you would like your portrait session in your home we have a few morning sessions open. Please contact us.
